Our Mentors

Isabella Marx

Hi! My name is Isabella Marx. I am an upcoming freshman at UMass Amherst and plan on studying psychology in college to pursue a career as a therapist. I have taken and received awards for my achievements in my Brain, Mind, and Body psychology class, as well as my Normal & Abnormal Behavior psychology class. This year, I took Sociology and Senior (Developmental) Psychology prior to starting my internship at Evergarden Psychotherapy. Alongside psychology, I am also very involved and interested in the arts. I have experience with a variety of mediums, but I play guitar and am most passionate about music. I am extremely passionate about mental health and am excited to work with your kids!

Elijah Hupe

Hello, my name is Elijah Hupe, and I am an upcoming freshman at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and I plan to study illustration. I love art and psychology and think that blending them is a valuable resource for people, especially children. I love many forms of art like painting, illustration, design, and video, and have been exploring creativity all my life. Whenever I paint, I love there to be a theme and a central idea. I like to experiment with themes of love, self, and deep emotions. This has become a central tool in my life to help me express myself. Through this internship, I want to experience a business that tackles therapy through the arts and learn how to direct a group through ideas and creativity.
